Hi, I was wondering what charger I should get to charge lipos in like 2 hours or so. Thanks

The EZ Peak Plus is a nice entry-level LiPo charger for a fair price, about $85. 6 amps will charge a 6000 mah LiPo in under an hour.

Not as fast as you'd like, but it's very affordable.

Talk about not fast! It would take five hours to charge a 4000 mah lipo! It would take almost seven hours to charge my 5400 mah packs! Keep savong your money. Look on ebay for inexpensive lipo chargers.

Duratrax Onyx Chargers work well especially for the price.
I have (2) 235's that will charge up to 8 amps.

I can go all day at the track with two chargers and 4 5000 Mah packs.

I got my last one for $60. Charges Lipo, NiMh & NiCad

THE BEST LIPO CHARGER YOU CAN GET IS THE THUNDER AC6 CHARGER! It charges at 5 amps max, can balance batteries up to 6S, has so many settings and options within it. You can also charge NIMH and LiFE and more! You can also plug it in to your computer to see info about your batteries!! Both me and my friend bought one and they are amazing! You can find it at:

    http://www.nitrorcx.com/thac6smlibac.html

This is the best charger you can get for an amazing price. Unless you are a professional racer, you should get this charger. Every basher should have this charger.

If you think you might buy it, check out this video:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpZuIzPd3NE

And also check out the videos on Nitrorcx on that website I linked (the first one) because they have usage tutorials and function tutorials. Also check out reviews, but they are all great! 5 star charger in my opinion!

I have one of these too and am happy with it. I bought it USED a couple years ago and it runs like brand new.

edit: He's right, you can get these for about $70 which is a good deal if you get it with the AC power supply.

Um, it isn't redonkulous for $40, it is a good buy, and many people don't have $80 to spend for a charger. I meant it's the best buy for a basher, especially someone that's low on cash.

You stated that it is the best charger you can get screaming in capital letters. Re dickulous, redonkulous. If you want to endorse a known battery cooker, go ahead, but I cant.

Some chargers don't include the AC power supply, so keep that in mind when you price them out.

    Redonkulous but true.

I know the AC6 is not so good like its made out to be. I was tempted with their new chargers that just came out charging 20amps and 30amps and all. 620 and 3010 are the new ones black and gold but its the same cheap quality when you can get an icharger for 125 20amps known to be good and excellent warranty and support and icharger 30amps for 150 instead of 190 thunder 3010 30amps. Its all about QUALITY when it comes to chargers ive realized i did before but not so much till after i had my own use of a cheap charger trying to save a little cash or not saving more.

AC6 is not the best for the money and more not the best charger of any kind to me atleast.

Work out the price per watt then you'll see why all of these cheap chargers are some of the most expensive chargers out there.
$40 for a 50W charger thats 80cents per watt. compare that to the most expensive icharger or revolectrix unit.
I think the pl8 stands at 35cents per watt and the i chargers are at 20cents per watt.

Im thinking the point was lost here. Went from good charger for 2 packs in 2 hours to whats the best charger which would be an endless debate.

My .02 on the OPs question would be either the ONYX 245 where you can charge 2 2s 5000mah packs at the same time in about an hour or the 235 where you can charge them one at a time at an hour each. The 235 is more feature rich than that 245 allowing multiple profiles and limits etc where the menu on the 245 is very basic. The 235 also has a USB port so you can charge your cell phone while you are driving then talk on the phone while you are waiting for you lipos to charge LOL.

I have one of the the Thunder AC6 chargers and some cheap Sky Lipo batteries. Been using them for a couple years never had any trouble. Never read anything bad about them when I bought mine.
