    roller

I just bought a roller and I was wondering what y'all guys think the best esc/brushless motor combo is. And when it comes to the motor the higher the kv the mire top end and the lower the kv the more low end is this right?
Off to the hobby shop I go.

Best to go with the 2200 with a heavy truck and mamba monster esc

To a point a lower kv motor has more torque which would allow you to get higher for more speed where a high kv motor turns faster but wont pull as tall of gearing. But in a revo the 2200 works best

Either a Castle Creations Mamba Monsters 2 ESC and 2200KV Mamba Monster motor, or a Tekin RX8 ESC and 2250Kv motor. Though Tekin spec sheet lists dropping down the Kv with a higher turn motor if running 5S or 6S.

If these options are to much money you might look at Kershaw Designs motor and ESC combos Im running the Leapord 150 amp Ground ESC and the 2000kv motor on 6s but he has several motors to choose from. For under $200 your ready to roll.

And this motor will blow the tires apart on 6s
If its not breaken then your not racing.

The hpi tork motor and esc from a vorza flux is a good option for about $230.
It's a castle mmm with hpi branding.
I bought one so that I could get the Endbell and use it on my castle motor for my erevo. That Endbell has 10 threaded holes vs the 4 on the stock castle.

Used the stripped Endbell on the new tork motor and used a vorza fux mount to mount it to my truggy.

    Truggy is setup for a 4s brick but I've been using 2 2s in series. 2x spc 5a 30c and 2x sky lipo 5a 40c
The CC cap pack was already on the esc when I got it. I guess I should heat shrink it.
Does the cap pack actually make a difference?

I gave up waiting on one major hobby shop as their estimated available date kept slipping so I got one off ebay instead. Ebay suppliers seem to have limited stock and sell out quick but relist ASAP after getting extra stock.
