Yep, looks way better in black. Keep that sharpie handy for the dyed chassis too, cuz deep scratches will be grey and the sharpie will be your best line of defence to keep it looking good.

So just thought about getting rid of that nasty toe in on the rear. Swapped the r/h and l/h hubs to the in proper side and is perfect.

Rpm arms, chassis and MIPS were in!

Fronts were a pain, had to take the bulkhead off so I swapped the chassis while I was that far in

5 hours later, lots of red loc tite, it's back together!

Man that looks good! I really want to dye my chassis black too, but since it's the truck I run the most right now (sooo much snow) I don't want to dismantle it because I would have to put it all back together the same day or have no fun at all until it's done. Nice job man!

Thanks!! I agree on the down time, I had the new chassis drying up as I got the axles done, only reason I did it tonight because of the front shafts lol. Can't wait to test the new axles tomorrow!!

^^ nice build!! Are you running 2s on that motor? If your going 3s beware of breaking axles!

I ripped two 3s packs hard yesterday, MIPS are awesome!! Only thing that broke was my body, as I was ramping it 20 feet across a driveway and it flipped a few times.

That's awesome! I'm hoping mine will be the same! My friend bought the same ones a day later, and was in the lhs today getting one fixed. I don't think he let them sit long enough with the Loctite though!

Blipped apart the motor today and look at this...

Rotor shaft cracked this time!! I have emailed traxxas with pictures, hoping somehow to get a Spair motor out of this...

Had me running for a low cost!

I too just dyed my chassis. The black makes it look much better. The gray seems to cheapen it.

I couldn't log on for the past week on my iPad or iPhone for some reason, any ways I've sent off my old motor to traxxas for replacement, never hurts to have a Spair!

Completely mashed my spur gear on the weekend getting chased by my american bulldog.

    http://youtu.be/gxOpwt3Ynp8

    http://youtu.be/ju_aZlrPrVA

And today I did some wheelies down the road, and a backflip on 3s. Had to try it lol

    http://youtu.be/AkScyxhsXhw

Some guy wants to trade his summit for my truck. Comes with a mamba max esc and ******* 2650 1/8th scale motor. Rpm knuckle and arms. I thought about it for a bit, I've always wanted a summit and he says it does 50mph on 4s, but I just love my p4de!!

It was a good day! Other then shredding the rear spider gears to nothin!

The whining noise was the gears barely gripping. Took it apart and upgraded to an xo-1 Spyder gear/I beam set up.

At the lhs we tore it down and rebuilt it, installed after work. Waiting on the MIPS to dry again. I put a ton of it on and a little heat got the grubs out, red loc tite FTW

Back together ready to bash in 24hrs!

    .

Red worked great last time! Ran about 20 3s packs and 20 2s with zero issues!

I think the key is to let them sit and dry, my friends fell out in 5 minutes after only drying for about 2 hours. He's ordering me in the front I bar setup because he knows i will explode it next lol!

My lhs is now selling the castle sidewinder with 4600kv motor for about 135. He says it will be lots for the truck, what do you guys think?

I picked up a blue rpm bumper today, and bearing kit to fix my motor. All good now!

Idk about the sidewinder in the 4x4. It seems more suited to the 2wd models..
