Lipo 3S hard case or no ?

Hello:

I wan to go to 3S lipo and I need to know if I can use lipo 3S standar (non hardcase) ... I like go to run in a offroad track, jump, run in the park with several little stones, also mud and water in winter, etc.

We don't use many hard cases anymore in my circle of friends. But we do use electrical tape and foam padding if needed. Always make sure they are secured wether soft or hard case. It's just a personal choice for us.

Though not completely necessary, whether you use hard or soft, I prefer soft, I would use something like liquid tape around the opening where the wires go. The lipo cells are sealed so no worries there, but you want to prevent corrosion on the internal connections.

I run soft cases as well, you can fit a larger battery in compartment compared to a hard case as well.

I used to be a hardcase guy, until I got sick of them cracking and breaking on me. None of my softcases have ever given me problems like that. So, I'm a softcase guy now.

I do give mine a wrap in gorilla tape though. Just some extra protection.

Soft case here no problems and I beat the heck outta my stampedes!

I run both and have had no problems with them touch wood and i do bash my pede as hard as i can......peace
