    Pinion Help.

    Trying to install the 21 tooth pinion on my stock 2wd stampede, Makes very loud crunch noise and smoke's, What am i doing wrong here?

    Make sure its not to tight.. I always stick a piece of paper between the spur and pinion.

    I got it straight now, My mesh was off, Hence the noise/smoke, Ready to roll now

    Hope you have a 90T spur and maybe a heat sink with that ,or there may be more smoke only this time from the motor.
    I run 19/86 on 2S Lipo, but that's with a modified heat sink that I made that drops the temp quite a bit.

    Yeah i re-geared it today to 12/90, Was only smoking because of the mesh.
