I have a Mamba Max PRO (MMP) 2400 combo in mine on 3s. Its less expensive and more suited to the Rally. The Mamba monster systems are powerhouses but are hard on the drivetrain. The only real reason to install one of those 1/8 scale system is pure speed.
    Pay It Forward.

The MMP/2400kv combo is probably the best choice if your going to run 3S. its much lighter and smaller than the Monster 2200 or 2650 system. easier to mount in the car as well.

If you do go with the Monster system the 2650 is a good choice. Many people go with the 2200 but even for 4S running in a car like this the 2650 would do just fine. If you wanted to run MORE than 4S (5 or 6S) the 2200 would be best. But for 4S the 2650 is smaller and would give you better speed.

Absolutely. I ran that setup in my first Pede 4X4. Works great. The MMP has more than enough power to run the 2650 on 3S. 4S might be a bit hard on it.

awesome!!! dont get me wrong, my 2800kv are running very strong and all but, i've always wanted the 2650kv. is the 2650kv bullet connector 5mm or 6.5mm? my ESC have the 4mm.

Youd have to upgrade the bullets on your ESC to 5.5mm... im pretty sure thats what the MMM motors use.

The MMM/2200 and 2650 combos use 6.5mm connections.

the picture you've posted are the same, the one without the fan are for 1/10 scale and are rated for 3s while the one in the picture are for 1/8 scale rated for 6s.
