Dual servo for proline big joes
Hey guys is there a duel servo setup strong enough to turn big joes that fits directly into the emaxxs stock chassis.
P.S Im lazy
-
Accually a single servo setup would work even better so I dont have to worry about servos fighting and I could just leave 1 slot empty
-
Sure a hitec 7950th will do the job! 403 at 6v and 486 at 7.4v
-
Yaaa 150 dollers not in my price range anything cheaper I could go duel hitec 645s like 60$ is all I can do speed is not really a need since I just bash but I need something reliable that can turn those big tires.
-
On my maxx I run dual 2075's 250 oz with trenchers so as long as they add up a little more then that your good 266oz that will be ok
-
50togo do you run your servos with the stock plastic gears? Do you know of any metal gears that might work with the stock traxxas servos? I've heard of possibly Futuba s3305 gears working....?
-
Why do you choose those servos over the hitecs hitec has more torque but the 2075s are 10 more dollers. And how would the reciever packs work do i need 2 for i will be running 2 servos? Can i just plug in the packs strait into the reviever where it says batt(i have a tqi reciever) or do I even need an external pack?
-
Also with the hitecs do i need any other parts to make them fit?
-
On my maxx they are stock 2075 so far. I upgraded the servo on my revo
Depending on what receiver you have. Newer e maxx and revos have two spots for twin servo plugs
-
Maybe a better aluminum horn but other than that bolts right up
-
As I said I have a tqi reciever so im guessing thats new and it has 2 servo plug holes but do I need a reciever pack?
-
No. It should work with no problems depending on your esc
-
My esc is a mamba monster
-
Hitec or a less powerful savox will be fine
-
Will the mamba give the servos the6v it needs to get the full 133oz.? Sorry for all the questions im new to servos
-
You can program it for 6 volts with a field link
-
Do i have to buy the field link? It also says the traxxas reciever i have has no bec so if I plug in the servos rated for 6v and I plug in 22 volts they would overload right?

Did some research found out the old mamba monster has a fixed bec output of 5.5 which is fine but would the servos draw too much current for the esc to output slowing down my truck or should I buy a external bec. One more thing will adding the servos put to much force on my 20c traxxas batteries?
