Throttle Servo Issue
Hello, I am new to the forums so please bear with me. Ok so today I go out to use my Slayer and while I am starting it up, (cold day today) I gave it some throttle and I could hear this terrible squeak! So I stopped starting it and began my search for this sqeak. I found it out to be my throttle servo. I gave it a closer look and I noticed that when I gave it throttle it would work as normal, but then the return back to idle would take forever. My best example to my problem would be fast compression slow rebound. Am I out of luck? Thanks guys for the responses.
Is your return spring atached at both ends? That's where I'd look first, and than after that I would just upgrade. I know my throttle/brake servo didn't last long either. I ended up just throwing on a HiTec servo and haven't had any issues since. I'll have to check when I get home, I forget what one I used but remember it was only like 30 bucks....
