Proline extended body posts vs stock?

Has anyone tried the proline extended body posts? I like how they don't have body pins. Also do the posts line up in the same spot as stock? From what I heard they don't line up in the same spot on the stampede.

I had no issues with the stock body.
They lined up just find.

I feel they are a little soft. That being said, it the alignment isn't perfect you can easily make it work.

I love 'em. They hold much more secure than clips. Great for bashing.

Yah they don't line up perfectly, but like stated above they do flex. You might have to ream the holes on you body a little bigger if you don't want them to stay permanently bent. They are very secure too, ordered an extra set of the thumbscrews thinking they would come off but haven't lost one yet.

That's why I wanted them, too. I lost one thus far but I probably didn't screw it on tightly enough.

Ive been suing them for awhile now. The posts are just a tad off fromt he stock holes but not by far and its easy to remedy, they have enough give to pop right in. For aftermarket bodys just drill your holes to match.

The downside is the thumbscrews do come off and get lost so order up extras. They also are prone to severe road rash if you flip it, far worse than you get on body posts.

I have the extended body posts, and I love them. My stock ones got all bent out of shape and were totally trashed. The extended ones are flexible in case of a wreck but not too flimsy. The thumb screws are awesome as long as you tighten them. I have lost mine twice in the snow but was lucky, and able to find them. You may need to check them every once in a while when driving to make sure there not loose. The only reason mine came off was because I had the screw upside down, but after I fixed that, they don't fall off.

Yes! Mine aren't pretty! I actually lost one of mine in a lid slid on the road.

I lost some too, just replaced them with blue traxxas wheel nuts lol
