    E-Maxx Body on an ERBE

Hey guys. Like many of you, I get tired of looking at the stock body. Not only that, the stock body is currently shredded to pieces. Soooo, I decided to buy an unpainted E-MAXX body. I looked all over and only ever saw a couple pics of one ERBE with a stock E-MAXX body on it. I liked the way it looked and decided to give it a try. I found the body(the extended version) on some random website for $16. I had some extra paint lying around as well. Forgive my lack of creativity....I've been battling kidney stones all weekend! Let me know what you think.

Vortex Hobbies. They had a sale going on when I bought it. But it's still pretty cheap right now. $19 plus $2.99 for shipping. Type in 3912 to the search box on their website. The body you're looking for should be at the top of the list.

The body holes dont line up, but it's no big deal to just make new ones

It's splatter. The resolution and lighting isn't very good in the pics. The splatter is black, blue and silver. It looks a lot better in person...

    Here are some closer pics

Yup, I actually quite like it too. How did you create that effect?

Thanks, man. I put on the window masks first. Then I used a few drinking straws... I sprayed paint onto the end of the straw, then flicked the built up paint onto the body. It only took a few minutes...pretty easy. I've done other bodies that I think looked better.
