You can start at like 18/54 and see how your temps are. I run one of my trucks at 22/50 on 4s. I also have an Integy single fan heatsink for cheap insurance.

Should i maybe start at a lower pinion?
It is up to you. If you have pinions sitting around, by all means try them out. I am just giving an example of what worked for me. Please post your findings to help others on the forum![]()

i'm running on 20t/52t with jato anaconda tires. 10 minutes later after doing speed passes, i can keep my hand in the motor.
I have to solder a series adapter or buy one cuz im running 2 gens ace 2s
Try 20/50 gearing

Yea do you guys think ill need MIP driveshafts for the front as well? I only have them in the rear
i dont have MIP driveshafts but i heard that the front rubs in the hub. i order the tekno M6 instead and it should be here by thursday along with the XO-1 knuckles
Are the teknos better? If they are im gonna order some cuz i dont want my driveshafts breaking every run
they're both very good shafts either one you pick. the only difference with tekno is that its non telescopic.

Is that a bad thing that they are non telescopic?
The teknos are $30 cheaper than the mips
no its not a bad thing, i'm only telling you the differences. and they are much lighter than MIP.
I swear by Mip X-Duty axles! I have them on both of my trucks. It comes to personal choice. They are both a hige improvement over the stock axles. I have front and rear on both of my trucks. If you look at www.gonitrohobbies.com they have them for a good price. You might also want to check eBay.
