Big Joe Gearing help

so i have an E-MAXX with big joes and the warmer temps get the hotter it gets i thought i could change the gearing to 15/65 but i think its still to hot! any big joe users out there wanna give a guy some cooling advice?

Try the lower gearing and see what your motor temps are.

Go with a bigger pinion gear to eliminate some of the take off torque especially if your just bashing around the yard

Bigger pinion? But that raises the gearing I was running 17/65 but that was way to hot, to point where I thought the motors would burn out. Is there a way to cool the motors?

Have you looked into Heat Sinks or Cooling Fans?

Maybe try 16/65 or 16/62. Have also seen some guys open up some vent holes in their front & rear windscreens to get some airflow over the motors when running. Of course the downside is more dust in there.

That's what I have on my 2 titans 550s. They fit right on top of the motor shields. Kinda snap on snugg. Also u might wanna look into cooling fans. That's my next mod for keeping the titans cooler.
