Hello,
I was thinking about getting some lipos for my summit. Which ones would you recommend? I don't want something too fast. But something that will give me more run time. Also something that wont break the bank.
Thanks.

SPC 2s are what I use but do your homework, learn all about lipos and charging them because there is potential for catostrophic failure if the charger you choose is mis-used (as in your house burns down)
I would reccomend getting another traxxas series 1 nimh and run it in parrell. It is safer and also more budget freindly
I run two gens ace 2s 1300mah lipo's parallel. I get around 40 minutes plus run time. Alot more power. The gens ace are about $7 or $8 apiece. I have around 40 plus cylcles on them, and no problems. Run time also depends on how you are driving. Long speed runs will run them down faster.

The difference between a 2s and a stock nimh is about .2 volts .4 if you're running in series
Yes, that's true. Nimh lose volts fast.
I've got one stock Traxxas Nimh and one Venom 20c 11.1v 1300 Lipo.
The difference in performance between the two is mind boggling.

Yeah, lipos get better voltage constatancey. But nimh are much better for smaller vehicles and new rcers.
