    Traxxas receiver.

I have always had my receiver in the waterproof case even though I don't get it wet. On my new build, I won't have room for the case. Will the dust hurt the receiver? Should I somehow cover up the channel plug inlets that dont have anything plugged into them? Thanks.

I'm not a pro but i think if you blow it out well at the end of the day it should be fine, the traxxas water proof box is relatively new 25 years ago water proof was unheard of.

Dust won't hurt it. The wet will hurt it.

Should be fine, just make sure you use good tape to hold it down securely. I like 3M tape from Advanced Auto.
