    Acceptable temperature range. Lipo

    Just curious. I was doimg some speed runs and my 3s lipo is at 100 degres. Is that to hot?

    140F is the limit. Make sure to let it cool to ambient temp before recharging or storing.

    Yup 140 is the limit for best I would say keep it under 120* if possible or cooler. Mine don't get any higher than 98 or so.

    Today was the warmest I've ever felt that battery get. My I.r. gun read 103 I think. That was speed run after speed run. I can't imagine it getting much hotter than that. The thing is, the motor was around 120. Esc 70ish.

    Then your more than OK you must be geared down then to have low temps like that from ESC and motor. Lipo is about right. From your signature looks like you will soon of not have tons of lipos for them all lol.

    Not too low. This particular one is a merv 25/50. I think it was a good ratio for the vxl3m but now I have a 100a esc in it. might need higher gearing.
