    qr1 motor coming apart

    anyone have any ideas on how to prevent it..

    I have had motors come apart as well.
    Too bad we have to resort to installing children drinking straws on the thing to get it to last.

    I wish I had done this... now mine is broken... and it looks like a 3 week backorder on parts any QR-1 parts from Traxxas!

    Yah, it took Traxxas 3 weeks to get me a replacement motor.

    They should not have released the product to the entire world before they had spare parts.

    The QR-1 seems very stable, but the durability and parts replacement are lacking.
