I was going to ask, how is that legal? What ever happened to bumper height requirements? That thing rear ends you, it's going right over you. Or, if you rear end it, your going right under.

Just curious... anyone know the max bumper heights in their states? Here in Delaware it's 34"

We didn't do safety inspections on modified vehicles when I had my inspectors license, (R.I. and Maine.) they went to an inspection referee (Local law enforcement) to have them done there. So, I have no idea what the bumper requirements were, I just know that they were enforced.

I'd love to lift mine...but I tow too much with it and would rather not have to deal with towing with a jacked up truck...especially when pulling the travel trailer.
So...I just leveled it and put 33x12.5-17 Mud Claws on 17" polished H2 Alloys.
The truck is a 2004.5 Chevrolet 2500HD CCSB 4x4 Duramax.

    Don't need 4x4.

Rear locker and use able suspension, goes a long way

Only issue so far with this truck was a wheel bearing. Other than that not a single problem with 125k and counting

    Update, lift installed.

After with new wheels (parking spot is slopped. Truck sits level. Pics arent that good and its alot higher than it appears) Thats a full size Escalade behind it and my hood is creeping up to its roof

There awesome kenny, loud as all heck, but love the look. A lil rougher than the stockers too as there a 10ply tire.

Same with our Dodge, loud as heck, but hey! thats what stereo systems are for Do your rims have any off-set? ours dont so if you turn too sharp the tires rub.

Ya mine have a -12mm (4.5 backspacing). They stick out about 2 inches, which work and look perfect with my flares. No rub whatsoever.
