    what slash to get?? please help!!!

    i cant decide beween the kawasaki edition slash 2wd 2.4ghz xl5 (then i will put the vxl system in it) or should i get the slash 2wd vxl straight out, but the thing is i really want the kawasaki body. so what are the differences between the two (except ESC and Motor) and difference do they make. thanks in advance

    nothing really all parts the same as far as im aware of you can get the body on ebay if you really want it

    the differences that i know of is that the vxl has the slash 4x4 bellcrank steering and servo saver, brushless optimized suspension, and heavy futy driveshafts. how much better would that make the slash 2wd vxl than the slash xl5?

    I dont even think you can buy the Kawasaki body anymore
    Try eBay if you want one

    I would go with the xl5, since you already have the vxl you can put that and sell the xl5 and do what ever you want. Like the body you want

    I believe the reg slash only has bushings in the wheels where the vxl has bearings. I do know the vxl gets the newer bellcrank steering design... Where the xl5 does not. Go with the vxl for sure!
    Edit: also while its not stock you could always paint a kawi body... Im a honda guy myself, im planning on a honda body paint scheme

    when did they stop putting bearing in the wheels? mine has bearings purchased in 2010

    i dont have the vxl esc/motor but i would buy it and replace the xl5 if i bought the brushed slash :-)
