Hey so I want to get some LEDs on my truck. How did you guys do it? Like where are you getting the power from? And what light kit do you have? RPM?
i went to rc lighthouse on ebay, got the narrow light bar from RPM and the leds all wired up for 26 bucks. at first i just had it mounted up wired to the inside of the body with a velcro strap glued to hold the battery and then ran it off a 9v. rc lighthouse does custom setups. so if you want a on and off switch they can do that for you too. obviously its going to be more. but im happy with their work, check them out.
oh and i flipped my slash over 100 times since ive had the light bar and i ruined one led, which is like a dollar at radio shack lol.

Ok thanks guys. Il be sure to check out rc lighthouse. And those switches look nice so I don't have to turn them on on the car.

from receiver to IN= live/hot. VRC= signal. GND=ground
output to leds GND and OUT or GOOD can't remember how i got mine.
But tomorrow i need to test an old receiver i'm selling so i will take a photo of it.
On the back there is two square pads that needed linked together, I don't know why that needed doing.

Got some pics of the pololu switch i use. never got round to soldering the wires directly to the board as it's quite full in the receiver box with the capacitor in there too., Maybe do that if i get new chassis.
I just plugged it in using the reciever plugs i bought.
The switch is more than double the price now than when i bought it, But didn't come with any instructions just the board and pins.
