    Me and Mini Me

I've pretty much bought everything off road Traxxas has ever made aside of a slash (no interest). I don't think I have ever disliked any of it, but these are my two fav's of all the trucks I have. I also enjoy my Summit's, but the speed demons here are just too addictive.

The 10th has trx turnbuckles, Castle MMM, Phatlines, and an Alphastar 2350kv. The 16th just has a big 2200 3s wedged in it

Nice trucks, looks almost like mine. I also put the E-Revo decal on the lower part of the truck vs the stock area right below the window.

I guess im not... I have 2.4 and dont have it outside the body... Just put a new TQi system in the summit to replace the am radio, no problems so far... Esspecially on the summit saves the antenna from rollover damage.

with the 2.4 you dont need it that long .one rollover and you will be looking for a new receiver

Exaggerate much? lol I've never destroyed a receiver in a roll over in 36 years. Maybe you're doing it wrong. :P

The antena is what the antenna is, just like every other TQ 2.4 radio out there, all ten million of them. If you don't like the length of it write traxxas, LOL.

Following up on an earlier comment, it already is fast. 2200mah @ 3s is wheelies at 40 mph which is all you can intelligently use and I didn't have to screw up it's center of gravity so it still drives great I've been happy with it for many years.

Does more than enough without upsetting the proper balance. Who wants to drive a camaro with a 454 when they can drive a porsche with a 3 liter turbo and do everything.

A 2.4 antenna needs less than two inches sticking up. Cut a half inch off your antenna from a rollover and its ruined
    Just saying!

My receivers don't have antennas you should make a little trailer to pull the merv on behind the erevo that would be pretty cool!

I think I would love to drive a camaro with a 454, small block though, no need in adding weight! lol!

Only 10 grand! That would be nice!
These days its Turbo and superchargers. My 326 stroker I built for my 5.0 mustang made 700 hp with 15lbs of boost(that's where 50togo came from) and I had a 427 Chevy. A big block would make more torque at lower rpm though

Some days I wish I was still into building engines, most days though I will take messing around with my revo over it any day. Nothing like the sound of hi-revving V8 though! Just gets your heart pumping!

As I get older I appreciate being greasy and oily less and less...but my forester is going to need a new engine sometime so a build may not be too far off! I hear you on the turbos and SCs it is only going to get more widely used as engines get smaller.

I would rather be wrenching on all my traxxas vehicles now too!

Another one from the back in the day turbo AND supercharged club. This time a 4 banger on the turbo and a 6 banger on the Super.

I think ford did a disservice to their "performance" cars by using a such a small engine in such big and heavy cars...even the v8 tbirds of the 90s weren't very performance oriented. The SVO mustang though was pretty neat, if only they had given it a real shot, I had never even heard of it until a few years back watching Pinks and a lady was running one at one of their big shows. That car could have been something special with it's 4 cyl turbo. Or the escort GT that should have been turbo'd, my sister bought a 1990 in '94 it was a nice little hatchback 5spd manual of course it was peppy, but not terribly fast. "big" 15 inch factory wheels, LOL! Those were the days!

The svo was ahead if its time with a intercooled turbo and four wheel disc brakes problem was it was priced so high a 5.0 mustang with better performance was cheaper by thousands

A bit more on topic, I got my ride height set today to where it drives great for the onroad tires. Now I need to find a good spot and combination for my Gemini set for bashing in the yard.

I know this is kind of an old thread, and slightly off topic, but I used to drive a 95 T-bird SC. I loved that car until i tore up the tranny, and had to get rid of it. Though in retrospect that may have been one of those things a kid in High School didn't need. But oh well I have my 05 Mustang GT now, which i love even more then I did that T-bird.
