Sway bar kit

I'm interested in the sway bar kit and was wondering what u have to modify cause I seen the kit comes with
A drill bit. Can someone help? Thanks

You have to drill the lower rear Rockers. Front is a direct fit.

the drill bit is for drilling the lower rear rocker. theres also a triagle shape piece of plastic, use it as a guide to drill the rocker.

I replaced the front stock linkage from the swaybar kit with these beefier 49mm aluminium turnbuckles #3738. You get them in blue too.

I used the Jato turnbeckles on my Revo sway bars.

You could use a red Sharpe on the stock chrome ones,I've done it and it works just fine.

ok i see now. thanks for the help.does traxxas make the red sway bars cause i been looking and i only saw just the chrome ones.

No Traxxas doesn't make the sway bar kit with the red linkage only the sliver ones the red linkage only came on the Platinum Revo but like Bloody Wheels said you can use the Jato turnbuckles. That is what Traxxas used on the Platinum Revo sway bar linkage.

ok thanks ill look into gettting those then. i still have to buy the sway bar kit though and also the turnbuckles then if i wanna upgrade

There is a Sway bar kit for the Slayer Pro that does not require any drilling or mods. This kit strictly bolts up. The part# is Tkr1013 and you can find it @teknorc.com Or you can have your lhs order one in for you like i did. I ordered mine last week and the shop called me today and said its ready for pick up. I will be picking it up tomorrow. It shows its for a revo but i was assured that it fits the Slayer Pro as well. Here's a link....

I have a question: I want a sway bar on my Slayer Pro but even I searced the whole forum and web, I still couldn't figure out which kit to use. Trx5998? Trx5498? or Tkr1013? I live in Turkey and only part on sale here is 5498. If that is not suitable then i'll have to order from USA so it means waiting 2 weeks for delivery.

I ordered tkr1013 already my so called HS owner friend asked 75$ for 5498 and i went off my way and ordered tekno sway bar for 24$ plus 11$ shipping
