    Question EZ-Peak 2amp and Team Orion SUPERCHARGE 1600 7.2 Volts Ni-MH

Hi...I am looking for some help regarding an EZ-Peak 2amp Ni-MH charger and Team Orion SUPERCHARGE 1600 batteries we got my son for Christmas. We finally got the batteries and charger out to charge them so he could run his Boss Mustang. We plugged the batteries into the charger, but the charger just blinked red. It wouldn't change to solid red. Both batteries did this. We were told by the hobby store employee that the batteries would work with the charger.

Any advice on how to get the batteries to charge?

    Thanks,
    Jim

    Blinking red means charging?
    Solid red means fully charged?
Sorry I am not very knowledgeable about the EZPeak charger...

How long did you leave them to charge?
What amperage did you choose to charge at?
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Solid red means charging, blinking red means some type of error. I put one of the battery packs on the charger that came with the Boss and left it on there for a couple of hours. I then put it on the new charger and it charged it. I think it had something to do with the batteries having too low a charge to register properly. Trying the other battery pack now. Hopefully that will be the fix.

    Tanks.....

    Thanks for the education Jim!

I think you have the issue solved... sometimes chargers are too smart for their own good. lol
