I hit a curb today and broke my chassis, all the web sites I have seen so far are all out of stock. Anyone know where I can find one?
Thanks,

Traxxas has them that's where I got mine. Said they are still in stock to yesterday. Other than that they pop up on ebay but they go quick.

i wonder if there is some kind of brace mod that we can come up with....like bracing the shock towers end to end.
Wow nice damage there. No need to do a mod. Just try not to hit anything WOT hehehe.

I was running with Manimal down in Morgan hill on the hard pack dirt, (Broke my rustler and my savage as well, I'm good!) and just ran on the pavement for a few minutes. It started sliding and I didn't catch it quick enough, at a pretty good pace it hit the curb.
I am kind of suprised that I didn't do more damage than I did.

Where did you order yours from? Most sights I have seen say early Jan for their inventory prediction, hopefully you will get yours soon.

I placed an order with HOBBYTOWN USA who gets their stuff from a wholesaler - shame on me. But, when they told me 20 Dec, I wasnt expecting 20 Dec 2013!

I broke my chassis (anda lot of other parts) in late November. It was late December before Traxxas called me and said they just got them in. Ordered it and had it in a few days. Sucked sitting with a broken car that long. I picked up the only chassis my local hobbie shop had the other day as a spare.
My chassis came in today, so I can put her back together. It does save time cleaning the chassis, not sure if that is a good excuse just to break one.

There's a bunch on eBay. Search slash platinum LCG as well. Same chassis.

That is one dirty Rally... what have you been doing with it???
My Black & Blue Rally is faster than your color...
Ouch. Sorry for your loss. Waiting for parts on my E-Maxx is precisely why I went out and bought the Rally. Just to keep one in my backup holster, ya know?
My friend has an SC10 to. They have one, might be a good idea for someone to R&D one for the Rally.Probably someone like STRC, King Headz, or HR. Just hope Integy doesnt beat any of them to the punch. LOL
I'm pretty easy on my Rally though. I keep it mostly on flast surfaces. I have other RC's for running stuff over with.![]()
Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength.
The place I was running is like a storm water overflow area, there are two pond like areas with a concrete jump to transition from one to the other. The base was still a little wet, so the california clay just sticks to everything.
I put her back together, hopefully this weekend I can go back again. It has been dry for a week which should have dried that place up. Maybe I can find the dogbone I lost off my savage.

It all started with a Slash 4X4....
What is the part number for the chassis brace? Thanks.
Yes please give a link for this part
Dusty Motors shrouds
Hey guys, I built that brace at the direction of a Traxxas factory driver. It uses E-Revo aluminum toe links, part #5338A, RPM long end links (2), 4mmx25mm hex screws (2) 4mm nylon bushings (2) 4mm flat washers (4), 4mm nyloc nuts (2), and a 4mm coupling nut that I machined out of 1/4" bar key stock. You can buy a 4mm coupling nut from a bolt supplier, some hardware stores may have them. It needs to be 4mmx20mm-.70 pitch.
It mounts in the spot where the chassis bolts to the bulkheads, directly strengthening the chassis. I beat the mess out of one of my trucks with no flex issues. PM me if you need further assistance.
