browse 2.2 tires/wheels/rims on ebay. in 2.2 size tires there are many tread options. also browse the mini summit picture gallery to get another aspect on wheels. peace, and welcome to the forum.
im a compulsive up grader on my shelf ornaments.
thanks, and is there any specific diameter of the whole wheel that is good? and what is the best tread?
Look for 2.2 size tires/wheels with a 12mm hex.
Then compare the spec on the canyon at tires with the ones u want
Diameter / width
2.2 canyon at
Width: 2.2" (56mm)
Diameter: 3.87" (98mm

ok, and those are for 1/10... do they make them for 1/16?
Only thing specific to the 16ths is stock.
Target height should be around 4" max.
Plan on regearing to go slower due to the added stress of the larger tire.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
i don't think there is really anything bigger than the stock tires, they are pretty big size for this size truck. The stock 1/10th summit tires are pretty much the biggest truck tires around as well unless you get the cen tires that are made of unobtainium.
The OP is talking about his 1/16th Summit... since this is a 1/16th Summit forum.
There are LOTS of tires that are bigger... most of which are way too big for the 16th platform. The challenging part is finding a tire that is just the right size to do what the OP wants without severely overworking the power system so he has to gear down to 5mph.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
yes, and I was talking about the 1/16th tires as well,I just mentioned for comparison that both the 1/16th summit and the full size summit use pretty much the biggest tires for their size and finding bigger tires will be tough without stepping up to higher scale sizes which I think is going to tax the drivetrain on this little car.
Gotcha... I didn't understand before.
