    Summit vs T-Maxx : Tug of War!

    This was great! My buddy was sold after i showed him my summit and i raced his losi buggy. So he bought one and now he just did a tug of war with one of our buddies who has a Tmaxx

    What was that that came flying off in the last few seconds of the video?

    I'm guessing this was done on some slick concrete, I wonder if the maxx would win on dirt..

    Honestly, I think Traxxas changed the game with monster trucks and their ability to climb and crawl when they made the Summit. I was amazed this weekend what cleaningcrew and I could crawl up and over. With a good set of lipos, the fun lasts a good deal.

    Nope.. My buddy here at the fire station had the T-MAXX 3.3 and we were messin with them in the engine bay cuz it's freakin cold outside.. lol.. Friday we will do a dirt tug o war.

    No, cleaningcrew is the buddy of mine that has always had nito cars, didnt much prefer electric cars. He has a (nitro) Losi buggy, and we took our cars/truck (my summit, his losi) out and competed in climbing/crawling and basically everything. The only category he won was straight line drag race. That next day cleaningcrew ordered his own summit, which is featured in the videos above.

    A carefully consealed brushless system in there, and it may be a bad day for the
    Losi.... for sure make that event closer

    Yep. Most people see how slow the Summit is, and laugh at it. They keep laughing untill you drive over the curb, their feet, and then their car, in less than 5 seconds. That'll shut them up for a bit.

    i think the summit would win against the EMBE just because it is heavier.

    What you should really do is get a bunch of traxxas minis and see how many it would take to pull the summit

    The biggest things the Summit has going for it:
    Traction... great soft grippy tires
    Torque... nothing else Traxxas RC comes close to 70:1 reduction
    Weight... aids in traction

    Not really related to pulling, but climbing, with the emax and summit. The emaxx makes it but the summit doesn't. Switch tires and the summit makes it but not the emaxx.. I think the maxx would win because of traction and more power over the summit, assuming its an EMBE..
