IMHO, not sure the driveshafts are needed if you stay on 2S LiPo. As for the motor mount and bearing adapter, check out King Headz. The bearing is larger and lasts longer/works better. I used the Traxxas aluminum parts on my Pede 4x4 and love them.

I would get MIP CVD's in the rears if I were you. Expensive, but worth the investment.

Also, get an "outerwears" shroud. Will definitely help get rid of grass, dirt, small rocks, etc from entering the chassis.

Yes, the MIP CVD's are more worth it.

The outerwears are a very nice "first" mod to do on your part since your using the stampede on snow a lot. You can also check out the JConcepts "Chassis Over Tray" if you want another alternative besides the outerwears shroud.

Oh, the driveshafts are definately needed w/2S LiPo. I kept twisting mine and breaking U-joints on a 4200 NiMh. I've had MIPs on the rear for about 8 months and this weekend the front MIPs will be going in after tearing up one of the Integy XHDs that I had on for about 4 months. Unlike MIP, you can't repair those when they break.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are a couple of parts that I have broken during my first few runs:

1st mishap: Stub Axle Carriers (Front)

2nd mishap: Golden Horizons Alum Gearbox (Connects to rear lower control arm)
Rear Shock Shafts (Don't forget the shock oil)
Tire glue (Running with LiPo Batteries i.e. Lots of Torque)

Also these part (Better safe then sorry)

RPM Gear Cover Black (Prevents dirt from getting into the gears)

Traxxas Bumper Front Slash TRA5835 (Much better bumper protection for your Stampede)

    I have a Stampede VXL

Front and rear arms are the same. For the MIPs you do need a designated front and rear though due to different lengths.

Still Waiting for my King Headz and Proline Badland tires,

1.? Are the stampede 4x4 and slash 4x4 MIP CVd kit same? will the MIP for slash4x4 fit for pede4x4?

2.? And I need some help with you guys? Cause i dont know how to mount my GoPro cam on my pede? any suggestion? Help?

3.? And i got some problem with my new Traxxas 3s lipo 6400mah, when i am using it, fully charged, when im pulling the throttle slowly like trying to be a crawler my esc blinks red slowly and no more power on my motor, just for the steering, i need to unplug and plug it then green light again, and when i try to pull it slow, red led comes out again, but using it in pull throttle and high speed seems to be ok?

i did contact traxxas via email, and they ask me to sent them my motor and esc for repair and inspection, but it will cost me $100, and? i will be out on bashing for long, so i am still looking for any help that will not need sending my motor and esc to traxxas,

And next thing to do is make an account on photobucket so i can show and share my pede with you guys,....

I would have to retract my statement about the stock driveshafts. I put Proline Trenchers on my truck and on the 3rd run, snapped an axle! I just out another stock one on it for now until I can fund the MIP's.

What's the "C" rating on the battery. Some people will say it doesn't matter, but I had a boat load of problems with a 20C. Swapped it out for a 30C and it's worked perfectly every since.
Also check your connector to make sure you are making good contact. I have a Venom battery that is arcing. Will be buying a Traxxas connector from LHS soon.

    Happy Bashing!
