    very bad crash.....

    Slash VXL 2WD.
Just went for a short bash, donít know how but I managed to heat a fence, not high speed but fast enough to crash the front left end.
    Lots of broken parts.
Beside the front caster block and bearing carrier, what are the other damaged parts name ?
    Thanks.

Broke the front gray bulkhead also. Not sure what that fiberglass strip is called. Check out the exploded parts list on this website.

They should have most of that in stock, don't you think? You might want to upgrade to an aluminum bulkhead thou.

Looks lime you need a hinge pin that goes through the bearing carrier, too.

+1 on the aluminum front bulkhead. Money well spent and it can take a beating and a crash lol. My alloy bulkhead survived a head on collision with a speed limit sign. Good luck with your repairs.

Yea the aluminum bulkhead is my next purchase . I'm on my 3rd bulkhead at 6 bux a pop. Looking at the pic this is a great time to pick up sume caster blocks and a strc pin set.

Does anybody know if you still run the tie bar on an aluminum bulkhead. I don't kow why you would.

I don't use one with my alloy bulkhead. Don't see how it would be needed once you go alloy.

Castor block is the black "C" shaped plastic piece. I was talking about the fiberglass piece right behind the bumper.

Looks like a arm, fiberglass tie bar, suspension pins, c block, front bulkhead and possibly front knuckle. Time for rpm parts!! That's about the extent of the damage on my last wreck.

Well, after that very bad crash, my slash got a full spa treatmentÖ
I've replaced all the broken parts + few screws and pins that where rusted or bent (the impact of the crash on internal parts is amazing) and basically all the other parts where tested and tightened.
Then I decided to do something I wanted to do for a long timeÖ
    1/8 Big-Blocks wheels + 17mm hex adapters.

    I've installed this:

    And here it is:

Had to trim a bit the front end, didnít test it yet, too much rain and wind in the past week, maybe the weekend will be nicer.
