Bad Order -5409 - Please Help!!!

    Hi,

Sorry for brining this up again – but I have the same problem I have got the 5409 engine and the shaft need to be modify – I don’t want to open the engine and replace the shaft.
Installing the nut adapter #4844 will surely solve my problem? dont want to replace the shaf.

    Thanks’
    Oren.

Yes the TRX #4844 is what you need for the #5409 multi~shaft engine.
    Look out for the tree/crunch!

So if you use the #4844, does your flywheel attach to that, and then your clutch, and clutch bell? Are there other parts you need to use that engine and part# 4844?

The #4844 is the flywheel nut & what the CB bearings spin on with the Multi shaft engine.

The above engine uses the crankshaft pictured below, which requires the use of #4844 nut w/pilot shaft.

    Look out for the tree/crunch!

So do you just use the clutch bell? does the screw hold the clutch bell on? do you not run a flywheel if you run the adapter?

    You always need the flywheel.
The screw & washer keep the CB on instead of an E~clip.
The #4844 is just the flywheel nut & pilot shaft in one.

wanted to say one more thing - the 4844 is 3*10mm and the 5409 is 5*15, how the 3mm is going to fit the 5mm?

    thanks,
    Oren.

The 3mm goes into the CB end to hold the CB in place as there is no grove for an E~clip like on the ISP engine.
