    Twister waterproof servo

So I was looking at the twister high performance waterproof servos on rc4wd. For the $70 price tag they seem like a good deal. Metal gears, waterproof, 250 oz.in torque at 6v. Throw two of them in the truck and call er good I'm thinking.

    Anyone run these?

Never heard of them, when i upgrade im going single though. Duals are just too finicky when making sure they are still aligned and not fighting each other all the time.

    I will second this notion.

The servo saver limits the amount of usable torque anyway... 300-350in-lbs is the max if I remember right. You can get that in a single servo.

Took about 3 minutes to adjust them out of the box last week....didn't seem tough at all?

Don't know what all the fuss is about

They don't always hold the adjustment.
I was re-adjusting mine every 3-4 runs before I went with a single servo.

I agree, their home position seems to float ever so slightly. Be it the servo or parts getting tweaked when you run.

Once you go single you'll never look back

Interesting, didn't know they would get out of whack. Visiting my parents in Hawaii right now, and we've been doing a ton of crawling over the lava (best terrain ever for this truck) and a little higher speed on gravel, etc, and the servos are holding their original setting still. Will have to tell my dad to keep an eye on them.

Also for anyone that's interested (although off topic), these are on sale at Future Shop in Canada til the 3rd. $503. ERBE for $640 i think.
