Noisy rear differential?

Hey all,
As I was taking apart the rear end to install the new slipper, I noticed the rear was very noisy compared to the front when everything was disconnected. Here is a vid so you can hear it.

What do you all think, do I need to open the diff?

Did not think about it before, but is it possible some clutch shoe bits may have gone into the diff when the shoes exploded? Think that would cause the noise?

Sounds like the topical rear diff! In the front a solid shaft is extended out of that same style diff case but in the rear, you have the hollow, female receiving end..... its a hollow echo of the teeth of the pinion/ring gear. This is normal!

Hopefully someone has a full rear clip together, they can make a quick vid for you to see. I've had mine apart many times in the past 2 years, same sound, I assure you!
