There have been some recent builds for tire chains. You might be able to build your own for cheaper and have the satisfaction of doing it yourself.

Chains aren't even needed! Sock tires are great in the snow. They get me through a foot of snow just fine

Beg to differ when you start crawling on things... I couldnt make it up the wood pile with my stock tires, added chains and no problem!!!

Well, I wasn't saying while crawling, just driving through snow. I get so much snow here that there isn't anything to crawl

I've notices a huge difference with stock tires with chains. The chains made it everywhere I put my summit and even places where I didn't want to go. I usually run the mud slingers but they didnt do as well as the stockers with chains. The ol lady runs stock tires and she was having issues following me with the chains on. IMO it was worth spending the 20 bucks and a couple hours of my time.

To add a note my chains aren't like everyone else's. I added what I call flailers
