    Summit Suspension

Can anyone give me an idea of what spring rate i should buy for my traxxas summit? And also is it easier to buy a whole new shock and change it out or just change the springs?

Well it Depends Are you going to be jumps high or just bashing around the Yard and i would say just the spring if your Stockies are holding up fine but that depends on the style of Driving

For a pack of two springs is 6 bucks and then possibly shipping and tax. So how I look at it for 15 bucks on eBay (free ship and no tax) you can get 4 complete shocks with springs and have 2 full sets to play with.

And personally Dbl orange springs front and rear is the way to go.

alright i might look into what you said Keila72, i think it will be easier to just buy another set of shocks, i find on tar with the big tyres and soft suspension there is quite a lot of body roll and it tends to roll over when turning at full speed

I agree keila72, dbl oranges all round are definitely the way to go.
I have dbl orange all round and i wound the preload down about 1cm all round and it virtually reduce squat to nothing but it also still allows a fair bit of articulation when crawling.
If the summit can go through; its not deep enough
