Thread: MMP esc???

    MMP esc???

    I have a similar version and i got it bind/calibrated....now the yellow light blinking fast non stop. goes forward and reverse fine but the blinking light bothers me. throttle trim is centered too.
    all help are very apprecaited, thanks is advance.

    Thats normal I believe, something to do with cheat mode, lets you know it is not operating in cheat mode. I think version 1.26 of firmwire and up do this. All my MMP's do this.

    i dont have a firmwire to access so is there any way to do it manually?

    I think you can download the firmware with the castle link, but not 100% sure.

    figure it has something to do with castle link. I have the MMM and i've been wanting to buy the USB link and/or the field link but i never did. i guess i have to buy it this time lol.

    yellow blinking led is normal, that's part of the ROAR rules, meaning the esc is on neutral, and not on cheating mode. I strongly suggest getting the usb adapter or the field card if you want to set the LVC or brakes on your esc, it is much more easy than doing it manually.

    And buy the receiver extension so you don't have to open the receiver box every time you make an adjustment.

    ^^^ +1 to the Rx extension. Its very worth the money and to not have to bust into the Rx to make any changes. I'd suggest the field programmer as it can be used as both.
