    Slash Racers

    How many guys and gals in Michigan on here that race there Slashes in the summer on outdoor tracks?
    Traxxas Slash all others are just Toys lol

    We have three in Traverse area,outdoors that is.
    One nice short coarse with jumps.
    One big oval,requiring big power and speed.
    The other is not done yet,but will try to keep you up to date.

    The Interlochen area,in fact two are across the street from each other,the third,um not 100% sure yet.
    But I'm 95% sure it also is in the green lake town ship area.
    Six miles from the Interlochen arts academy.

    RC Maddness in Clinton Township near 16 mile (Metro Parkway) and Gratiot.

    There's also AMS raceway, they have an outdoor track in the summertime too.

    I don't race outdoor tracks though. Larry's is my place!

    Small world,I went to Chippewa valley high,And lived at cancel and Garfield,just before moving to Traverse.Indian run subdivision.

    I go to AMS in grand blanc.
    they just finished a nice track in fowlervill, I haven't tried it yet but it looks nice in Google maps.
    There is a little one in grand woods park northof lansing that has a hand full of people that keep the track up nice.

    I'm nowhere near Michigan, but from what I've seen on another site I frequent, the racing scene is huge there.

    What else is there to do. If your not hunting your fishing if your not fishing your shooting if your not shooting your off roading if your too poor to do all the above your bashing your slash.

    Snowmobiling skiing,cross country skiing snow hill climbing in your 4x4,until the mud comes back,Drinking beer,and freezing your butt off!

    I don't know if I'd call it huge. There sure are a lot of RC'ers though. At least in the suburbs there are, which is where Larry's is at.

    Racing on Tuesday nights is planned to last from 6-9pm, but there have been many occasions where so many people show up that racing lasts until 11 or 12!
