Lipo 2s question....

Just got traxxas stampede 4x4 vxl that came with the lipo 2s battery and the lipo charger.

How long does it usually take for the lipo 2s to be fully charged?

Depends on the charger, but if it's the stock charger, it charges at .8A. So probably around 8 hours.

A lipo charger came in the box. It has a 2s and 3s inlet. Will that take 8 hrs?

I have a 5300 Mah 2s lipo and it took me @50 mins with my charger today set at 5amps.

If the charger charges at .8A / hr and you have a 4000mA LiPo then here is the math:
4000mA/1000 = 4A (mA to A conversion)
4A / .8A = 5 hrs if fully discharged (which it wont be)
Sorry for the 8 hour comment above. That is what I was told and was too lazy to do the math.
Should be more like 3-4hrs.

I don't really know the specs for the lipo charger it came with, but based on what you said above, I'll expect a charge time of 3-4 hrs if the lipo charger it came with charges at .8A / hr.

Btw, does anybody know what's the specs for the lipo charger that came in the box?

One of the nice things of Lipo batteries is that your don't have to charge them all the way to use them in your car.
I expect that charging for the first time will take less than half the charging time for an empty battery...

I want to try it on now, but I really want to get the red led's to turn green so I can fully test it out.

Get yourself a Traxxas EZ Peak Plus. It can go up to 6 amps, but I charge my 2s/3s Lipos at 4A and it takes about 75 mins.

So for a 5400 3s 20c it would probably take the same time, if not a tad longer?
