I haven't done much work on my MERV yet, so I'm not sure what the easiest way to install a new motor mount is.
Can someone give me some tips?

Not much to say. Its very easy. Keep track of the motor position and have some loctite and the right tools
Other than that use a piece of paper to set the lash for the pinion probably the most important part!
Can you give me an idea of what parts I take off and in what order?

For the stock motor take a 2.5 mm hex and take the bolt off(the one you adjust the pinion lash) then slide the motor off. If you need to take the wires off the motor take a pic of what wires go where. Take the pinion off and then the two bolts that hold the motor mount on
You are talking the motor mount and not the motor plate right!
This is what I got from my shop:

Yep. No.problem it will be a piece of cake!
(I don't know the screw sizes off of the top of my head, so I'll do my best to describe them)I first remove the gear cover with one screw. Then take off the shiny screw that sets the mesh. Slide out the ESC just so it's out of the way, then slide off the motor from the shaft near the bottom of the motor when mounted. (It's mounted on the gearbox/transmission)
Hope that helps to the point of getting to the motor mount.![]()
Then it's just two more screws to get the motor mount off of the motor plate.
Just finished installing it!
Thanks for the help!
