    Servo Gone Already

    Ive read that the stock servo on the Merv is crappy but holllly. I drove my Merv about 5 times and its gone south. It buzzes and wont return the wheels to center once in awhile. So I guess I gotta upgrade it. Do these things come with warranty at all ? Cant belive it lasted such little time.

    Running 4S on a stock ESC will do that...
    Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

    Its under warranty so get it replaced free. The white wire on my ESC smoked and turned brown the first time I used 7.2v in parallel. Although if you posted that you ran 4s your warranty is completely void at this point.

    In either case, this is an excellent upgrade;

    I went to Hitech HS85MG, with Ofna Servo Arm 10732. Had to do some mods, but well worth the effort. Been running the same servo for about 4 yrs.

    You might just need to replace the upper steering arm that connects to the bulkhead. That would explain the not centering. And replace the gears, it could be stripped if it's buzzing like that. Make sure you get the seals on the servo right or it won't still be water proof.
