    Dual stampede 4x4 motor fan!!?!?!?

    i just got back from the LHS and have my brand new p4de dual motor fan, the wires are too short to reach the reciever tho!! any ideas!!??! i also am trying to glue my 2.8 sandpaws onto my 2.8 desperados rite now, any tips on tire glueing!?!?!?

    See if your hobby shop has and extension cable. If you know how to solder you could just splice some wire into the middle. Glueing is something better learned by watching. Check YouTube.

    thanks, got wheels done by the time you posted, not bad for my first time i think, were supposed to get a 2-5 in snowstorm so i'll let you know how they perform with snow pics in the next couple of days!!!!i'll check hobbyshop, thanks!!!!!!!!

    Better get a Traxxas ESC fan to go with these or you'll just burn that up instead. I've got both and it made a Huge difference in bashing. Went from running 9/10/11 pinions/54 on NiMh and overheating - to running 13/54 on 2s/3s Lipo and ESC temp of only 80-85 and motor temps 140-150.

    Smart guy! That's the most expensive part to replace when you finally trash it. That little ESC fan is worth its weight in gold.

    +1 I've had a vxl for like 2-3 years with a fan on it and it hasn't burned up yet. (It doesn't weigh very much in gold)
    Slash VXL, Rally VXL, and Stampede 4x4 VXL.
