Suggestions on Brushless Motor upgrade! Slash 4x4

I need some suggestions for an upgrade for my Brushless Motor! I have a new Slash 4x4 and need to get this car moving faster! What motor recommendations do you have? And if I change the motor does any other parts need to be replaced because of the new motor?

get the vxl 3m, cant go wrong there

The stock V380 motor is pretty stout... I would get a different, more robust ESC and start changing gearing to get more speed out of it... which would definitely not be the 3M ESC. Something with a 60 amp or greater rating.

The micro is a 18th scale ESC.
The 3M is a 16th scale ESC.
The 3M is marginal... works, but does not always hold up.
So, how is a smaller scale ESC going to perform better??
