    Double the available amps.
    Less draw on your packs.
LiPo's are way lighter than NiMh.
Speed controller in a box with little air movement could result in burned up speed controller.
ESC doesn't really weigh that much... doesn't lower the center of gravity a whole lot.
Batteries in the battery box would actually lower the center of gravity more than the ESC move.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

so i hooked up my brothers 3s airplane battery today and it was a blast all most a little scary. The tires bubble a little but not too much. Still accelerating like a grandma until i get some diff shims.

For the last few days i have been driving with my two younger brothers one drives a stampede and the other a 1/16 summit so i am constantly getting run over because mine is so small but i have them both beat for speed and agility

so today i had to try it so i stuck my car in 2wd and it was lots of fun and i was surprised how well it handled but it was still awful compared to 4wd, but i noticed the motor runs cooler and you get longer battery life.

Well after i fixed my servo, the throttle seemed to be delayed, also the servo was making strange noises. Maybe the servo is messing things up but i do not know

well i will look into the servo problem.

Ever since i have got my car i have been e mailing pro line and jc concepts trying to get them to make a chevy body for the 1/16 platform. It would also be cool off pro line made some of the bigger popular tires like trenchers, mashers, badlands for the mini's instead of just dirt hawks.

I used hitec HS-85MG+ servo for 4 months and it handles very well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Hitec-HS...item53ea906deb
some guys of this forum also recommend this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Hitec-HS...item1e6956b6cd I personally don't have it but it has more torque as they said.
Today, I received 2 new servos that are very inexpensive, just 8 bucks. Corona DS 238MG is metal gear, and has excellent reviews, I didn't have the chance to try it but I will soon.
    here some pictures

they are not waterproof, but is very easy how to waterproof a servo, here some videos: http://www.youtube.com/results?searc....1.eN70j5sPX9w

well since the shocks are from a stampede they are way too stiff, if i got some really soft springs i think it would work really well
