Building Rally to Slash 4x4 with pics

I started to finally put the rally together to make it a slash LCG. The rear shock guards do not fit, I would probably have to do some trimming to make it fit. I did not install some of the slash platinum parts yet.

I am trying a used set of proline front and rear bumpers as well.

Still need to install the running gear. But here it is so far:

Did you buy a roller or did you buy all the parts separately? I am still thinking of doing this convention to one of my trucks. How much better is the performance? Do you bash or race?

I had mine running before my screws stripped and just driving it on level clean pavement it is nearly impossible to flip and cornering speeds are incredible even with tires that suck on pavement.

I bought the raller roller since I already had the slash 4x4 parts to convert it, I heard it was easier to do it as opposed to turning the slash 4x4 to rally lcg.

I have not even run this set up yet! I still have to install the electronics in it and test run it. I not a basher, and not a racer, just try and go to the track and practice on those practice days.

those are just slash 2wd tires and rims I had laying around, they push the tires out wider than the proline setup I took the pics with.

Got the ultimate roller and I have to say I am very disappointed in the plastic shock caps on the New GTR big bore shocks! Hope they work good and don't pop off!
