When I tightened my flywheel now my motor is extremely tough to spin over by hand. Is this normal or am I missing something?

is the flywheel rubbing on the block or carb? if not your rear bearing is toast
you know.. i never had a sig.. but i do now...
Seems to be rubbing on the front of the block. Just got my .21tm today and was moving the flywheel over to new motor. Got flywheel nut tight but then lots of resistance. Had trouble with crankshaft wanting to turn with the nut when I held flywheel with channelocks. When turning flywheel by hand nut finally just loosened itself.
ok.. well make sure the flywheel collet is in good shape and its the one made for the flywheel.. if all that is ok.. you need a washer behind the collet.. its going to need to be 7mm inside diameter...

You may have a bad collet, but more likely a bad flywheel.
