    Rustler turned short course Raptor.

Well I got a little bored of the rustler look so I put a stampede body on it, but that wasn't enough and I wanted something that looked a little more like a real truck. So I started with the STRC green aluminum LCG chassis extension and rear shock tower. Then I went with STRC 17mm hub adaptors and Proline Split Six 1/8 scale buggy wheels wrapped in Proline knuckles. Next was RPM Slash 2WD front and rear bumpers with the light canisters for both. Also the RPM mudflaps and low profile wheelie bars. Then I got the New Proline F150 Raptor true scale short course body and Proline adjustable body mounts with the screw on body hold downs which are amazing by the way. Iadded an aluminum front tie bar cause I hated the look of the stock fiberglass one. Lastly I put on front and rear lights in the RPM canisters by RC lights so I can drive at night. I love the way it turned out. So anyways heres the pics.

It runs great. I haven't taken out on much rough terrain since the new wheels but it handles pretty good.

What are the part numbers you used? It would be awesome if you could send me a list. I am looking to something like that to my rusty.
    Thanks!

Nice truck, I like all the green! I had the same light setup on my Sl4sh. You'll want to be careful where the front bumper of the body sits compared to the leads coming out of the lights. I broke all four light on the first outing because of the body slamming down on the lights.. I notched the bumper so that it wouldn't rub but it needed more notching.

A truly beautiful build! Love all the green details, and how tidily you've set up everything.

It it were mine I'd run it a lil lower and with SCT wheels and tires. But that's just personal preference.

Wild color scheme but I like it! Thumbs up for being different and still pulling off a nice ride.

I like that rear bumper. I also used the strc kit for my track slash but in color blue. Nice pieces and a good design.

Do you have any follow up feedback on this set up? I'm very interested in this conversion and am very curious about your impressions on how it performs? Would you do anything different?
