how do people drag like pros?

Was just trying to pull a stationary bike across the carpet but there was too much friction between the bike and carpet

Need to know the best place to attach the pulling cord on the summit, and on the other end, should it be attached low or high to the thing you're pulling?

Also, is it best to pull with both diffs locked or just front?

I pull my daughter in a wagon and wrap it around the rear body mount and bumper. When I drag her I tell her to grab the bumper. I also keep the diff unlocked unless I have to lock them. Some times I just lock the rear and leave the front unlocked for steering.
