Lol. I want one of them but prob won't get one. I'm still stock electronics so I'm not worried about snow or water gettin under the hood. I just make sure I dry it and lube it after every run.

i run lipo. they don't like water.

Not enough room to bag them either in the battery trays.

Lipos are fine in snow even rain.its not like they are getting submerged.i live where it rains LOTS never had a issue.fresh water is a poor conductor

See thats what I've been told to is never get them wet but ill hose mine off every run bumper to bumper and never have had a issue. I liquid taped both ends and where the wires come out of the pack on my soft pack and haven't done anything on my hard packes.

The old lipos were not as safe.
salt water or slush with salt in it could maybe cause a issue,I have not sealed mine and do this no issue. its near

Wow. That's the terrain I want to to play on. High range would be a hard to resist going up some of those hill climbs.

I have heard of people using dielectric grease on the balance tabs, to prevent rust never tried it myself as I don't submerge them very often. I usually run a outerwears cover if I'm getting muddy or snow just for ease of clean up and trail repairs.Now I'm not saying run out and drive under water but a bit of snow or rain is not a big issue.I still won't run my tekin in there in fall and winter.yet lol

Worst case i suppose i could run it on the NIMh's... bah who am i kidding, they never even got hooked up to a charger when i bought the summit.
