JConcepts over-tray

i've just installed the JConcepts Overtray because i mostly bash in snow and i dont want to load up tons of snow in the chassis compartment. i dont like the attachment with the hook and loop tape so i installed 2 body posts from a TC Car, 1 on the receiver box and 1 on the rear batt mount.

wow that tray looks really cool. we get lots of snow up here in canada and i always have snow in my compartment. that looks good

did you have to cut the overtray or does it come the way it sits!?!

you have to cut the overtray along the lines, its quite simple and fits well.
then you drill the holes for the antenna and in my case, 2 holes for the body posts (which are from an Xray T3 btw).
imo JConcepts rocks good stuff! i also installed the Lowered Body Mount Kit cause i like the body loooooooow....

But wont the overtray reduce airflow to the ESC and motor which could case over heating issues?

im gonna let you know about that after a couple of 2S Lipos!
but since i use it in snow and cold weather only, i dont think it will be an issue.
