Revo 3.3 bogs after shifting into 2nd gear when cold

I have been trying to troubleshoot, when colder and snow is around. runs great in 1st gear, but as soon as shift to 2nd gear it bogs down or engine dies. I keep leaning the carburator, and tighten the clutch to shift later, but havent fixed it so far. Bought this new in april 2012, this is my first problem like this.

    Thanks for any help

With colder weather you need to richen the carb. It is too lean.

richen the carb, meaning more fuel? I thought warmer weather allowed you to consume more fuel, not cooler?
