boss 302 tires?

what tires can i get for the boss 302? the tires on it right now suck so bad. I dont want it to keep sliding all over the street. also can i put erevo tires and wheels on it? and what do i need to convert it to slash?

Revo tires are wayyy too big!



You would have to hack the body into scrap lexan for the tires to clear.

great! so i now just need to order the rims and tires. i have 1 more question. can you guess the speed with the brushed version on 2s? to me it seems over 30 mph.

Here is a speed calculator.
I am not sure what you would put down for a Kv on the brushed motor though...
I doubt the Boss is going 30 though. Brushless will barely do that on 3S.

To convert to a Slash, all I think you need is tires, body, and mounts... possibly front and rear bumpers.

You can run any 1/10th scale touring tire. Check out hpi for tires and rims. And I had a boss that I just converted to a rally. I run it on a 3s battery and castle creations brushless motor and it will run well over 30mph. It pushes 50. Smokes my slash 4x4 vxl on 3s. Just sayin.

I run belted x patterns on my rally. Got the recommendation a couple months ago. Work great.

I have no doubt your modified Boss ran those speeds. His is stock BRUSHED. BIG difference.
