    Rally Wheelie problem.

I'm not able to make my Rally wheelie even on 3s. Everything is stock so far...

I have great speed and acceleration but no wheelies.

Other than painting it Orange, any suggestions?

Maybe gear down? You're already on 3s so I can't suggest a new battery.

Maybe you have so much skill, your car recognizes that and does not ruin itself wheeling.
With great brushless comes great responsibility.

On the lighter side..... a flux capacitor will make it happen.......

Maybe tighten up the slipper clutch? Just a thought!

    Looks nice ....

I think integy makes a "wheelie generator". Its made of aluminum and the warranty is void as soon as you open the package.

Ha... if a 3S wont do it, I cant imagine what will. Maybe something about the LCG nature of this car combined with the slightly smaller tires is keeping it overly planted. I know mine has never wheelied once. After installing the centre diff it barely even squats the rear.

I'm glad another experienced user has the same 'problem'. My only other 4wd experience is with my Ofna 1/8 buggy which doesn't wheelie either on 4s.

I have a Sl4sh but haven't spent much time with it and it's more of a shelf queen.

You can get wheelies out of a Sl4sh on 3s.

I'm running the 1/8 Pro Line Road Rage which have very good grip, powered by the CC 2800Kv 550 can motor on 3S. Even with the center diff mine pulls the fronts off the ground for only a few feet. It's using 16/52 gears, and 50k wt in the ctr diff. I think your slipper may be too loose...what gearing are you running?

The truck is still all stock except the king headz motor mount. When I get time i'll tighten the slipper and see what happens.

I run a 3s and MMP/2400 and it will wheelie all day with the slipper tight. I keep it a bit loose as those wheelies can get out of control at times.

What do you mean, shouldn't wheelie? With my rail buggy, if the throttle is down the front wheels are up. And it's only a little over 600hp on a 1750lb car. I bet your little RC has a lot better power to weight ratio than that.

All my 2wd trucks wheelie just fine. In fact, some if them will do a standing back flip over and over again.

The 4wd Rally puts power to the front differential which splits power between the two 'axles' and sucks power from the rear wheels which normally power the wheelie. My 1/8 buggy won't wheelie either due to the diff. I was looking for a solution with the stock motor/esc setup.

I don't understand why wheelies are so important ....I mean, if you want to go fast, you have to connect to the ground as much as possible.....right?

Anyhoo....take out the drive shaft, there's a better chance it will wheelie, but the car was designed to go forward fast....not wheelie.
    Good luck!

You know something funny. Folks come on the Stampede forum wanting to kill the wheelies to a wheeling truck. Now I'm hearing take a Rally car that should stay planted and want it to wheelie. LOL

Nothing towards you OG. I'm just saying. haha

It would be kewl to see the Rally running around on the back 2 wheels and belly showing. Wonder how long it would ride. Oh you might want to trim the back of the body so it doesnt catch the pavement.

My first RC vehicle was the Stampede and I guess I've come to believe it's a god-given right to wheelie when and where I want to. It's un-American to not wheelie. I like to wag the front tires as I wheelie down the road.

So I assumed my Rally would wheelie on command like my other Traxxas trucks... I guess the differential is too busy putting power to the front wheels.

I've found the front tires always wear out faster than the rears on my Rally and on my Ofna buggy. I guess it's from having the power on while turning.
