Wow! Thats the longest monoblock extension I've ever seen.
Do you use this beast for hill climbing or something!
Nice work man. Who made your driveshaft?
I'm in the market for some custom length dog bones if you know anybody.

1/8 scale will still be too small. Also, I dont think you will get much if any speed from that motor setup, especially with only 7.4v of power.

I found a 1/8 scale body a while back that would perfectly fit it on ebay

im sorry i forgot to update you guys about the project. well i got it complete and have had fun with it quite a few times and its actually pretty powerful for what it is, i think its kinda funny ive had people tell me its too heavy or the motor is too small i even had a guy at the hobby shop tell me my esc would burn up in 30ft of driving but i get an easy 10min before i have to let it cool down but i love it and it goes up any hill i also twisted an axle in half and im constantly knocking off teeth on the spur gear here is a video of it running thanks to all that helped me with questions and suggestions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YmTDAAUHdI

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i hydro dipped the chassis just got a few new parts in including a new traxxas waterproof servo tqi 2.4ghz tx and rx new spare spur gear and ive got 4 steel axles on the way i think maybe the 26th of july im gonna try to hit the mud pit and hopefully make it through or tear something up oh well that's the RC life :P here are some updated pics below.
(i still have to clear coat the extension piece and dip the bottom piece but that's another day)
i think the next upgrade is a mamba monster 1/8 scale motor and esc setup also are those motors bigger (round) than the vxl's?
